The World Unani Congress is a platform established by World Unani Foundation to propagate Unani globally.

 

The 1st World Unani Congress was held in 2017 in Delhi and was planned to be held every alternate year to promote Unani globally. Due to collaborative events and also unfortunately due to the pandemic it could not be held in time. 

 

India is preparing to become a cultural, medical and wellness tourism destination. The country is well positioned to benefit from the expected rise in demand for wellness retreats after the pandemic.The new Ayush visa introduced for Heal in India will create a concept of wellness that encompasses healing through not only just medicine. It gives a holistic approach of different foods and yogic practices to heal the body and mind as appropriate food prepares one for a preventive care through healthy lifestyle.

 

As mentioned above, marketing Unani as part of ‘Heal in India’ has brought a new definition to vacationing in India itself. Medical treatment combined with leisure activities, fun and fitness. As India is becoming one of the most important hubs for medical tourism, Unani can not be far away from this.

 

There will be a 3 day Ayush Sehat Mela, Free Ayush Clinics, Panel Discussions, Scientific Lectures, Oral Presentations, Poster Presentations, etc.
