The “Mohammed Ilyas Dehlvi Nishan-e-Tibb Award” is conferred
every year to a renowned faculty, a scientist or a physician by World
Unani Foundation.
In 2021 it was conferred to Late Hakim Syed Faizan Ahmed for his outstanding services for promoting Unani in West Bengal.
In 2022 it has been conferred to Dr Mohammad Yousuf, former Depury Director and Head, RRIUM, Srinagar for promoting Unani in Kashmir at a time when the turmoil started and all the Central Govt. offices were winding up their shops from the Kashmir Valley, it was only RRIUM, Srinagar which sustained due to him. Despite Article 370, he managed to procure land for RRIUM. He was responsible for the revival of Unani in the Kashmir Valley.
