1st World Unani Congress, Delhi


1st World Unani Congress was held on 6 th -7 th March, 2017 at Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi. The Chief Guest was Prof. Rais-Ur-Rahman, Advisor (Unani), Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India (GoI) and the function was presided by Prof. Talat Ahmad, Vice Chancellor, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. The Guests of Honours were Dr. D.C. Katoch, Advisor (Ayurveda), Ministry of AYUSH, GoI, Mr Hamid Ahmad, CEO/Director, Hamdard Laboratories (India). The Keynote Address was given by Prof. KMY Amin, Dept. of Ilmul Advia, Ajmal Khan Tibbia College, AMU, Aligarh. The function was anchored by Dr Mehr Alam Khan.
 

Over 400 National and 15 International Delegates participated in this 2 day Congress. There were 94 oral papers presentations and 82 Poster presentations.
