National Unani Congress, Azamgarh


National Unani Congress was held on 11th -12th November, 2017 at Shibli National P.G. College, Azamgarh. The Event was inaugurated by Jb. Nafees Ahmed, MLA, Gopalpur, Azamgarh. The function was presided over by Prof. Rais Ur Rahman, Adivisor (Unani), Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India. Welcome speech was given by Mohsin Dehlvi, Convener of the Congress and the Keynote Address was given by Dr Khursheed Shafqat Azmi, Former Deputy Director, CCRUM, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India. Guest of Honour was Prof. Ghayas Asad, Principal, Shibli National P.G. College, Azamgarh. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr Shahnawaz Sak, The coordinator of the Inaugural Session was Jb. Zubair Ahmad Khawar Siddiqui.. The function started with the Recitation of the Verses from the Holy Qur'an by Dr Mohd. Arshad..

A Sehat Mela was also organized where over 50 Exhibitors from the ASU industry participated. Ministry of Ayush also sent up an Ayush Pavilion in the Mela.
